Pastor Jennifer Fair

Pastor Jennifer Fair has been serving St. Peter’s since November 1st, 2012 and was installed as pastor of St. Peter’s on January 20, 2013. She was ordained October 28th, 2012 at Faith United Church of Christ in Ridgway, PA.


Pastor Jen graduated from Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, PA in May 2012, earning a Master’s of Divinity and a Certification in Youth and Young Adult Ministry. She did her undergraduate work at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Education of Exceptional Persons/ Elementary Education and minored in Educational Psychology. Additionally, she completed an internship with the IUP religious studies department as part of the Harvard Pluralism Project, played mellophone for the IUP Marching Band and sang with the University Chorus.


Before serving St. Peter’s, Pastor Jen served as a chaplain student at the VA Medical Center in Coatesville, PA, a Clinical Pastoral Education student at Phoebe (Berks) Nursing Home in Wernersville, PA, student pastor at Hamilton Park United Church of Christ in Lancaster, PA, and supply preacher of First Lutheran Church (ELCA) in Ridgway, PA. She has been active in several levels of the United Church of Christ, including a two-year term during high school on the national executive board of the UCC.


When she has time, Pastor Jen enjoys playing French horn, piano, singing, theater, reading and movies. Her other interests outside of church include education, psychology and disability advocacy. Originally from Maryland, Pastor Jen has lived in Ohio, Illinois and several places in Pennsylvania.
